First of all go to the Start Menu then Run and type �regedit� and Registry Editor will be opened.and mind making a backup of your registry in case any damage could be possible..
Removing recent playlist in the history:
Go to the: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMediaPlayerPlayerRecentFileList
For removing recent URLs go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMediaPlayerPlayerRecentURLList
Now delete playlists Naming there..
Disable Upgrade message in Windows Media Player:
Go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMediaPlayerPlayerUpgrade
and create a new String Value name it �AskMeAgain� and give the value of NO
Hiding anchor window in Windows Media Player:
Go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsMediaPlayer
Click on creating a new DWORD and name it �DoNotShowAnchor� and give the value of 1
Changing title name in Windows Media Player:
Go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsMediaPlayer
Create a new SRTING and type any desired name.
Lock interface skin in WMP:
Go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsMediaPlayer
Create a new String value with the name of Default Skin with (.wmz)
Now make a new DWORD and name it�SetAndLockSkin� and give it a value of 1.
How to Enable DVD features in Windows Media Player:
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMediaPlayerPlayerSettings
Simply ceate a new String value and name it �EnableDVDUI� and give it value of YES.
